Fieldstone Farm horses have been showing in the USEF over-fences classes all across the country since 1991. Before Alisa was old enough to show in the open classes, we successfully partnered with many wonderful catch riders for our horses. We gratefully acknowledge the contributions of these professional riders to our early success: Colleen McQuay, Shane George, Jennifer Alfano, Lanie DeBoer, and Christine Lagan, (Alisa's o/f instructor for many years).
Alisa started in the short stirrup division as a youngster and made the natural progression from the various childrens' divisions to adult amateur with much success. She has won many ribbons and championships in the over fences, equitation and hack categories in the 2'6" to 3'6" classes. In 2008, Alisa won the Ariat Adult Medal at the Hits Ocala show.
Alisa is known as a very soft, quiet rider with stellar equitation. Alisa has trained many of our horses for over fences and competed successfully on a national level with them. Her slow, patient, methodical training style gives horses confidence and keeps them happy to do their job.Now that Alisa has turned professional, she looks forward to working with clients and their horses to help them achieve the success and satisfaction we have had with our own horses.
